We are a strong, spiritually centered, diverse and inclusive community of seekers growing together in worship, music, healing, study and fellowship. We are a mission church in the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire, part of the Episcopal Church, USA, a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion and are affiliated with the Center for Progressive Christianity, creating an open and welcoming community of faith by expressing our approach to the practice of Christianity as outlined in The 8 Points. Our members come from Maine as well as New Hampshire.
The mission of Christ Church is to share the light of Christ in the world. As Progressive Christians we welcome all people into our sanctuary, regardless of race, economic circumstances, gender, sexual orientation or religious background. We gather to worship, sing, celebrate, acknowledge common needs, be fed at God's table and care, love and nurture one another. From here we go forth into the world to be active servants of the spirit of Jesus, ministering to those in need and taking God's grace and peace into the wider community.
Our services are at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday, followed by coffee hour in the Marshall Room down the side hallway.
