The Rev. David “Chip” Robinson comes to us after eleven years as rector of the Church of our Saviour in Milford, followed by a brief stint as interim priest at Church of the Holy Spirit, Plymouth. Before coming to New Hampshire in 2000, he served as rector of Grace Church, Norwood, Mass. and, before that, as associate rector at Church of the Holy Spirit, Orleans, Mass. Fr. Chip received his Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary, and his undergraduate degree from Salisbury University(Md.). He and his wife, Cindy, reside in the Christ Church rectory.
Nita Niemczyk has been Trinity Church, Hampton’s Secretary since 1997 and recently took on being the "Shared Ministry Administrator" for both Trinity Church and Christ Church, Portsmouth.  Along with her secretarial duties, Nita oversees the running of the Hobbs House Community Center.   She is very active volunteering in the community, especially for the Hampton Community Coalition (HCC) which is based in Hobbs House.  Through the HCC, she partners with businesses, schools, and other community groups to run food drives  to help keep the Hobbs House Food Pantry stocked throughout the year.
Alexis Zaricki earned a Bachelor of Science degree in music education from the University of New Hampshire in 1976 and a Master of Arts degree in music in 1993. Ms. Zaricki studied organ with John Wicks and John Skelton, and in 2003 successfully completed the two year Leadership Program for Musicians. After serving at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Rochester, NH, the Protestant Parish at Pease Air Force Base, NH, the Catholic Parish at Barksdale Air Force Base, LA, and the chapel at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, she became Music Director at Christ Episcopal Church in 1995. She now serves both Christ and Trinity churches in this capacity.
In a Mission congregation such as ours, the Bishop’s Committee is the elected lay leadership body of the congregation. (In a Parish, the equivalent group would be known as the Vestry.) As such, they are responsible for the congregation’s finances, the upkeep of all property and buildings, all personnel matters, and the development of the church’s vision for mission and ministry. Christ Church’s Bishop's Committee is comprised of a Warden, a Treasurer, Clerk and up to five at-large members. The congregation’s priest (known in a Mission congregation as the Vicar) is also a member of the Bishop's Committee and presides at all meetings. Our Bishop's Committee meets jointly with that of our sister congregation, Trinity Church, Hampton, monthly on the third Tuesday at 7:00pm.
