Christ Episcopal Church is an open and welcoming community located on New Hampshire’s seacoast. We are a Christ Centered inclusive community, a sacramental church that strives to live our faith beyond our church doors in the wider community. Christ Church is affiliated with the Center for Progressive Christianity which focuses on the acceptance of all people and a respect for other faith traditions. We are in shared ministry withTrinity Episcopal Church, 200 High Street in Hampton, NH. This new model of shared ministry allows for creativity and the use of joint resources in witnessing and outreach to the seacoast community while allowing us to maintain our unique, individual presence in Portsmouth and Hampton.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey you are welcome!
Blessings, Reverend Kathleen Cullen Priest in Charge

The mission of Christ Church is to share the light of Christ in the world. As progressive Christians we welcome all people into our sanctuary, regardless of race, economic circumstances, gender, sexual orientation, or religious background. We gather to worship, sing, celebrate, acknowledge common needs, be fed at God’s table and care, come and nurture one another. From there we go forth into the world to be active servants of the spirit of Jesus, ministering to those in need and taking God’s grace and peace into the wider community.
